Mary H. Mericle, 81, a longtime Beacon resident passed away peacefully on October 22, 2019 at the Monteflore/St. Lukes-Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY. She was born on December 25, 1937 in the Town of Wappinger, NY, daughter of the late Stathe George Moraitis & Beatrice Conkling. Her husband, Charles Mericle Sr., predeceased her on May 29, 2011. Mary is survived by her three sons: Charles (Brenda) Mericle, Harold Mericle and Scott Mericle; and her 2 granddaughters: Kayla and Oliva Mericle. She is also survived by her brother and 2 sisters: Louis Moraitis, Demetria (Gene) Brown and Christina Stone.
