Mary “Maureen” Finn, age 86 years, of Plymouth, died Saturday, June 4, 2022 at her home. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Finn, and the daughter of the late Michael J. and Bridget (Diggins) O’Connor. Born on November 26, 1935 in Worcester, she was raised in Jamaica Plain and was educated in Boston Schools. Maureen lived in Rockland, and worked at the sandpaper factory for many years, before moving to Plymouth in 2001, after her husband Robert died. She was proud of her Irish heritage and being first generation American. She was devoted to her Catholic faith. Traveling was something Maureen was passionate about, whether it was her many travels to Ireland or a trip to the Philippines. She was active with the DAV Auxiliary, charitable to veterans organizations, and enjoyed bowling and walking, or an occasional trip to the casinos or a game of Bingo.Maureen will be sadly missed by her two sons, Robert Finn and his wife Nomie of Dublin, GA and John Finn and his wife Lyn of Marston Mills, and her grandchild Robert Finn and his wife Carina of San Antonio. She was predeceased by her siblings Francis O’Connor, Peggy McCullough, John O’Connor and Kathleen O’Connor. She was the best friend and sister- in-law of the late Pauline
