Mary A. “Maureen” Holmes, 88 of Berkeley Township, previously of Saddlebrook NJ, passed from this life peacefully at her home with her family.
She was born June 22, 1934 in Ballinamore, Ireland to the late Tommy Prior and Mary Ann McWeeney. She was a loving wife and devoted mother. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and spending time with family and friends. Mary will be missed by all who knew her.
Mary is predeceased by her parents and her husband, Michael Joseph Holmes.
Mary is survived by her son, Michael Holmes and his wife Fran of Forked River; brother, Bert Prior and his wife Meryn of Australia; sisters, Mary Margaret Logan of Ireland; Mary Helen Wade of Bayville; Mary Nuala Bohan of Ireland; grandson Michael; brother in law James Holmes of Toms River; sister in law Sister Agnes Holmes of Mount Vernon, NY; and many nieces and nephews.
