Mary “Marie” H. Tirico, 96, of Jackson, NJ passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 at Bartley Health Care, Jackson, NJ. Born in Conifer, PA, she lived in Bronx, NY before moving to Jackson in 1952. Marie was owner/operator of Holmson Exxon in Millstone, NJ for many years.
She was a parishioner of St. Aloysius RC Church, Jackson, and was a member of the Point Pleasant Chapter of Deborah, the Lakewood Elks Lodge, the Soroptimist of Lakewood, NJ, St. Mary’s Catholic Daughters and the Gasoline Association. Marie was predeceased by her husband Michael Tirico in 1968 and her son Anthony Tirico.
She is survived by her children Marietta Giordano of Jackson, Michele Kravchak of Jackson and Michael Tirico of Jackson, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
