Mary Margaret (Mullen) O’Connor, 90, of Framingham, passed peacefully at home on June 17. Born in Milford, the daughter of Marion (Lahey) and James Mullen, “Mae” led a life of light and laughter. A 1949 graduate of St. Mary’s High School (Milford), she met the love of her life, Robert “Bob” O’Connor, in 1953 while they worked at Jordan Marsh in Shoppers World, Framingham.
She leaves Bob, David, and her granddaughter, Kayleigh Mae O’Connor, who she positively adored and who takes her name, laughter and light as her own.
Mae asked those around her to promise to be kind to every soul. She’ll be watching over us, “with much love,” to be sure we keep our word.
