Mary Madeline Marozzi Martin, 88, of Clarksburg. A light has gone out in our lives, a light that shone and shimmered full of love and laughter, a zest for life that never wavered. Our lives are changed the time we had we shall forever savor. A family member, confidant and best friend has flown away. She loved without limits, unconditionally strong and true. Faithful when undeserved, never wavering. A light has gone out in our lives, but the world was a better place for 88 years, to know her, heavenly, she loved, she laughed, she accepted human imperfections. And we love her in return and shall love her through eternity. Mary Madeline Martin went home to be with God in heaven on March 27, 2010, at the age of 88 after having suffered 2 strokes and their complications on February 24th 2010. She quietly passed away at home surrounded by family and caregivers. Madeline was born on March 19, 1922 in Clarksburg, WV the daughter of Guy Marozzi and Hetti Gay Collins Marozzi. She atteneded schools in the Adamston and North View areas of Clarksburg. A devout Christian ,she was devoted to her family and friends and was a caregiver of so many including numerous nieces and nephews, with whom she shared her love, wisdom and generosity. Madeline was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years William F. Martin on July 27, 2006. Also preceding her in death were 2 brother and sisters in law Edward and Angie Marozzi, Eugene and Edith Marozzi, Former sister in law Mary Leon Marozzi, 3 sisters and 2 brothers in law, infant Betty Marozzi, Sylvia Jean and Mike J. Lada, Elizabeth Virginia and Dallas R. Lough. She was also preceded in death by 2 nephews, Deward Roger Lough and Michael James Lada.
