Mary M. Sciscoe, 94, of Bloomington passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at her residence.

Born, October 10, 1925 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Pearl (Black) Howard.
Mary was an advocate for patients serving as the Activity Director for the Hospitality House in Bloomington, and she was the founder of and lifetime member of the Indiana Activity Directors Association.

She served as a longtime leader of a 4-H Club in Monroe County touching countless lives of young women for eighteen years.

Mary was a huge supporter of Purdue University and especially football and basketball. She was a member of the John Purdue Club and attended her 75th consecutive Old Oaken Bucket game in 2019. She was a member of the Clear Creek Christian Church and the Alpha Delta Omega sorority. Mary was the founder of Mary M’s Flower Shop with her husband Kenny in 1980. The shop is still being operated by her family.

Survivors include her children, Susy Craig (Dick) of Sammamish, WA; and Randy Sciscoe (Karen) of Bloomington, grandchildren, Jamie Sciscoe (Scott Halcomb), Jonathan “Jon” Sciscoe (Kelly), Kenneth “Kenny” Sciscoe (Daniale), Courtney Scott all of Bloomington and Erika Craig Wanchick of Falls Church, VA, great-grandchildren, Austin Crain, Thomas Lee Sciscoe, and Caroline Mary Sciscoe.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth Lee “Kenny” Sciscoe in 2005.
