Mary Margaret Robinson was born September 30, 1958 in Indianapolis, Indiana to James and Gladys U. Robinson. She was the youngest of the two children.
Mary accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at Allen Chapel A.M.E.
She attended Indianapolis Public School System and graduated from Arsenal Tech High School.
In 1978 she married Eddie L. Robinson and to this union they were blessed with a daughter, Crystal Renee Robinson-Alexander.
Mary was employed for many years at Stockley Van Camp, State Farm Insurance, Indianapolis Star and News and most recently Real Taste Catering for which she was devoted to making people happy through her love of cooking.
Mary’s family was her life. She was devoted to her daughter Crystal, son-in-law Ron Alexander, grandkids, and great granddaughter, however she was also there for the rest of the family with an open hand and kind heart. Mary enjoyed going on vacation with her family and doing courageous things like para-sailing, riding banana boats, attending summertime baseball or basketball games, or anything that would make her grandchildren smile.
Mary enjoyed taking girl’s trips with her special friends and entertaining. She would often be the life of the party with her beautiful smile, bubbly aura, and her love for music.
Mary departed this life on June 16, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at the age of sixty years, eight months and sixteen days. Mary was preceded in death by both her parents James and Gladys U. Robinson, and sister Gloria Montgomery Pickett.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving devoted daughter Crystal Renee Robinson-Alexander (Ron Alexander) of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Dajuan W. Clemmons Jr., Paul D. Ellery Jr., and Lyrik C Ellery; great-granddaughter, Jourdyn L.
