Mary Mechinsky “MM” Newbrough, 91, of Dawmont passed away March 4, 2012. Mary was born April 20, 1920. She was the daughter of late Stanley Mechinsky and Domicello Bordinski Mechinsky. On December 24, 1942, she married Raymond Edward Newbrough, who passed away April 7, 2001. She is survived by one son Roy Raymond Newbrough, Dawmont; four daughters; Mary Lillian Meck and husband Stephen, Harrisburg, PA; Betty Watts Dye and husband Charles, of Folsom, WV; Barbara Jean Coberly, Clarksburg; Marlene Ann Newbrough, Dawmont; two sisters Anna Hamby, Akron, OH; Mildred Laughlin and husband Orous, Cuyahoga Falls, OH; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, 15 nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her special childhood friend, Mary Stopiak Yazvac or “MS” of Clarksburg. She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister and great grandson Lucian L Watts.
