Mary M. McCloud, 95, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022, at IU Health Arnett Hospital. She was born July 10, 1926, in Lafayette, to the late Herschel and Mary (Tull) Byers.
On December 16, 1945, she married Alfred E. McCloud in Lafayette and he preceded her in death on May 17, 2018. She was a member of Elston Presbyterian Church and had been a Deacon and Clerk of Session. Mary enjoyed sewing, upholstery and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving is her daughter Sharon M. Paul of Lafayette, grandchildren Michelle M. (Brian) Ford, Matthew E. (Sheila) Paul, great grandchildren Blake (Emily) Ford, Bailey (David) Hobbs, Garet and Devon Paul, Ally Ford, great great grandchildren Hinley, Briar, Hazel, Lainey and Cooper.
Also surviving are her siblings Herschel W. Byers of Lafayette, and Violet L. Becker of Sellersburg. Mary was preceded in death by her son Robert L. McCloud and a sister Alice G. Byers.
