Mary Margaret Bissonnette, age 66 of Sanford died Sunday July 24, 2016, surrounded by her garden and pine trees. The daughter of the late Gerald and Viola (Hart) Bissonnette was born on July 19, 1950 in Bay City and attended Visitation Grade School and West Catholic Central High School. Mary graduated from Delta College with her RN Degree, starting her nursing career in the Operating Room at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. She later moved to Saline Community Hospital in Saline, MI.

Mary moved to Sanford in 1998 to help her aging father and escape the bustle of the city, making Sanford her home. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Parish, (St. Agnes) Catholic Church, Sanford. She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardens, reading, music, drawing, and animals- especially her horse and dogs. Mary loved helping people, no matter the cost. Her light sparked the passion and love in the hearts of all she met, and will continue to do so through them. Her calm perseverance through two decades of living with multiple sclerosis was admired by all who knew her during this time.

Mary is survived by her son: Ryan Przeslawski of Whitmore Lake, her daughters Rachel (Patrick) Przeslawski-Falvey of Bungendore. Australia, Marysia (Brian) O’Hear of Sterling Heights, MI and her six grandchildren Aiden & Emma Przeslawski, Liam & Jocelyn Falvey, and Michael & Lenora O’Hear. brothers Joseph (Jeannie) Bissonnette of Mayville, Thomas (Molly) Bissonnette of Ann Arbor, Timothy (Cheryl) Bissonnette of Saginaw, Matthew (Brenda) Bissonnette of Bay City, Paul (Sheila) Bissonnette of Lake; sisters Carol (Gary) Maas of Lake and Julia (Mark) Dryzga of Sanford.
