Mary Louise Salin 82, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at
her residence in Clinton. She was born Wednesday, September
12, 1928 to the late Taylor Truman Sr. and Bernice Yates
Truman in Jeffersonville, IN. She worked as a cashier for the
Standard Food Store, and in the bakery at Gallo IGA. Mary
was a former president of the Vermillion County Hospital
guild, and attended Cross Tabernacle of North Terre Haute.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Archie
Salin, and a son in-law Robert Stamper.
She is survived by a son; James L. Byerley of St. Bernice,
two daughters; Terri Lynn Fern & (Steve) of West Terre
Haute, Jeanne Susan Stamper of St. Bernice. A brother;
Taylor Truman Jr. & (Andrea) of Rockville, a brother
in-law Arthur Salin & (Doris) of New Jersey. Six Grand
Children; Mari Amber Jones & (Jeremy), Doug Shelato &
(Amanda), Lee Byerley, Stephen Fern Jr. & (Heidi),
Joshua Fern & (Abby), Joel Fern & (Mary), and Fourteen
great grandchildren.
