Mary Louise (Williams) Sales was born in Newport News, Virginia on May 15, 1940. She was eldest of 7 children born to the late Ola Mae Green. She peacefully departed this life to join her mother, Ola Mae Green and brothers, Clarence Mitchell, Leon and Larry Green in heaven.

Mary moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1962 and resided there until 1980. She then moved to Hampton, Virginia and after her retirement in 2007 she moved to Orange Park, Florida. During her time living in Virginia Mary achieved her personal goal of receiving an Associate of Science Degree from Tidewater Community College and Bachelor of Science (Special education) Degree from Old Dominion University. Mary used her degrees to start a passionate 20 year career working and caring for adults with developmental disabilities. She cared for her clients as much as she cared for her family. 

Family was very important to Mary and she passed the importance of family on to her children as well as the ability to love and care for other. She believed in living life and so she did. She loved music, singing (she had an awesome singing voice), traveling, dancing, jigsaw puzzles, decorating and gardening.

She leaves behind loving and fun memories in the hearts of her daughters, Kim Scott of Jacksonville, FL and Erika Sales (James, Sr.) O’Sullivan of Orange Park, FL; son, Kenneth (Shannel) Scott, Sr. of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Kenneth Scott, Jr. and James O’Sullivan, Jr., and Qonte, Qontasia, Qontrell, and Qondasia Saunders; sisters, Patsy Williams and Sharon Orgain; brother, Carl and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
