Mary-Louise (Gross) Byers, 80, originally of Northford and West Haven, wife of the late Robert C. Byers, Sr., passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Middlesex Hospital. Born on April 8, 1936 in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late August John and Grace (Holcomb) Gross. Mary-Louise earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of New Haven. Her career included working for Eyelet Specialty, Town of Hamden, City of Meriden and State of Connecticut. She retired from the State of Connecticut as a programmer analyst. After living in Northford for many years, Mary-Louise and her husband Bob retired to Rotonda West, Florida.
