Mary Louise Cadogan, age 87, a resident of Sykesville for 10 years, and previously of Sunset Beach for 52 years, passed peacefully in Carroll County Hospital on April 18, 2017.
She was born on April 29, 1929, in Baltimore, where she attended the Institute of Notre Dame. She worked as schoolteacher in St. Jane Frances School, and also as a doctor’s assistant. A long time member of St.
Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years: Ralph Cadogan; her sister Theresa Kirchner, and her brother Stanley Kirchner.
She is survived by her son Ralph “Steve” Cadogan and his wife Barbara, of Sykesville; her two daughters: Theresa Kafritsas and her husband Milton, of New Windsor, and Lisa Miner, of Brooklyn; seven grandchildren: Stephanie Vann, Becki Campitelli, Tanika Mauck, Stefanie McLallen, Jeremy, Joshua, and Heather Miner; and four great grandchildren.
