Mary Lou Bash Vogt, 85, widow of Raymond, died January 7, 2018 at Christian City in Union City. Born in Pleasant Unity, PA, June 8, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Reuben and Lulu Downs Bash. Mrs. Vogt was retired from Eastern Airlines where she worked for many years in the Catering Department at both LaGuardia and Hartsfield International Airports. She was a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals where she formerly served as President. She was also a member of the Pilot Club and was associated with the Powers Crossroads Festival for many years. Mrs. Vogt was a member of the Newnan First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Johnson and a brother, John Thomas “Jack” Bash. Survivors include her brother-in-law, Walter D. Johnson, several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews in Florida and Pennsylvania, and very special family friends Bud and Becky Freeburg, Mary (Kerry) Moore and Joanna (Colby) Brown.
