Ms. Mary Lou (Sorrentino) Rossi, 68, of Peru, passed away Tuesday morning, January 15, 2013 at her home.
Ms. Rossi was born on February 10, 1944 in Peru to John and Lois (Willmeroth) Sorrentino. She was a supervisor at JC Penney in Peru for 37 years. She loved to travel throughout the United States and abroad with family and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Jodine (James) Mahoney of Oglesby, Laurie (Eric) Gunderson of LaSalle; one son, Jack (Carrie) Rossi of Oglesby; her mother, Lois Sorrentino of Peru; 7 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren; two brothers, James (Linda) Sorrentino of Peru and Brad (Kathy) Sorrentino of Peru; one sister, Janice (Chuck) McArthur of Phoenix, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Pallbearers will be Christian Rossi, Schuyler Rossi, Eric Jack Gunderson, Payton Rossi, Jack Rossi, II, Travis Mahoney, Mike Sorrentino, and Tony Sorrentino.
