She was a longtime member of First Free Will Baptist Church. The most important part of Mary Lou’s life was her family and her church. On July 22, 1939, she was united in marriage to Roy Dean Roberts who preceded her in death on December 31, 1983.
Also preceding her in death was a son, Jerry. Surviving are her children, Jim Mary Lou Roberts of Kalamazoo, Judy Jim Moulthrop of Paw Paw, Pat Bob Werner of Kalamazoo and Tom Roberts of Kalamazoo; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Katie Ratliff of Kalamazoo, John Mildred Washburn and Eunice Fletcher Hill all of Decatur, AL; nieces and nephews.
