Mary B. Lee of Manassas, Virginia went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2018, she was 91 years old. She is survived by her husband of 69 years K. Eugene Lee, her daughter Laura A. Lee, her son Daryl E. Lee and his wife Virginia and a grand daughter Jessica Lee Simms and her husband Michael. Mary was born in Sand Fork, West Virginia and graduated from Sand Fork High School with 7 other grads. She entered Glenville State College in 1946 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education and business education. She started her teaching career at North Fork High School, North Fork, West Virginia. In 1951 she moved to Marshall Virginia where she taught physical education and coached girls basketball and softball. Her teams won many district championships. When she moved to Prince William County, she started teaching at the elementary level and earned a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from George Mason University. Many of her peers, parents and supervisors considered her a master teacher. Mary was a member of the Manassas Baptists Church. She loved her church and over the years was an active member.
