Mary Lee (Robinson)Valentine, 83 of Clarksburg went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 25, 2010 after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer. She was born July 29, 1926 at Robey Run, WV, the daughter of the late Orace and Opal (Pitts) Robinson. She was a member of First Church of God, Northview. She worked for Clarksburg Casket Company for ten years. She was a life-long worker and homemaker. Her husband, Homer Wayne Valentine preceded her in death October 31, 1975. She was also preceded death by a daughter, Beverly Duran Valentine; two grandchildren, Troy David Batson and Tracy Michelle Batson; and a sister, Ella Rhea Varca, and beloved dog, Lacey. She is survived by four children, Debra and Dave White of Salem, VA, Shelia and Lee Batson, Ladonna Hardman, Arthur “Mickey” and Libby Valentine, all of Clarksburg; eight grandchildren, Roy Lee Baston, Jr. of CA, Carrie Lynn Friend of WV, Tami Rae Mosley of VA, Kristy Lea Elliott of WV, Andrew Wayne Valentine of WV, Anna Elizabeth Conch of WV, Amber Dawn Hardman of WV, Austin Rece Hardman of WV; seven great grandchildren; brother, Orace A “Robbie” Robinson, Jr of Clarksburg; sister, Beverly Ruth Wilson of Lost Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
