Mary Lee Gunn Taul earthly journey began on March 30, 1942 to the parentage of the late Lee Wesley Gunn and Ernestine Cook Chancellor.
At an early age Mary, accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with Bethal Baptist Church in Many, Louisiana. Mary was educated in the Talladega County School System, attending Phyllis Wheatley High School, Childersburg, Alabama.
Along Mary’s life’s journey she met and united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Henry Taul. She became a member of Order of The Eastern Star Fraternal Organization.
Mary departed this walk of life on July 9, 2021 under the care of Cornerstone Hospital, Lake Charles, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernestine Cook Chancellor, father, Lee Wesley Gunn, step father, Willie Pope and Tommy Chancellor, one son, George Gunn, three brothers, Walter Gunn, Earnest Pope and Henry Pope.
Mary love and precious memories will forever be remembered by her husband, Henry Taul of Many, LA; sons, Robert (Erica) Gunn of Richmond, TX; Lee (Bobbie) Taylor of Gulf Port, MS; Tommy Taylor of Gulf Port, MS; Willie Taylor of Anniston, AL; Curtis Taylor of Sylacauga, AL; and Glenn Taylor of Sylacauga, AL; one sister, Willie Cobb of Anniston, AL; one brother, William Pope of Sylacauga, AL; twenty eight grandchildren, forty six great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, special friend and caregiver, Stephanie Williams and a host of other relatives and friends.
