A Brief Sketch of Her Life
Mary Louella Taylor Lee was the oldest daughter of farmer George Taylor and wife, Ola Bell Taylor was born on July 8, 1926. She was the longest surviving of eight children.
Mary graduated from West High School and aspired to be a basketball player. God had another plan for her. Mary had a desire to be an entrepreneur. She was an excellent seamstress, designer, homemaker, chef and baker. She even learned to drive in her 50’s. Bowling was one of her hobbies as she was in several leagues and had obtained over 50 trophies.
Her passion was serving the Lord.
Mary Louella Taylor Lee departed this life to he with her Heavenly Father on August 27, 2022. Mary had seven children, four of whom preceded her in death. Along with her husband, Rev. Leroy Lee Sr., Barbara A. Taylor, Leroy Lee Jr., Terry B. Lee, and Rev. George D. Lee.
Mary leaves to cherish her memories, Gwendolyn J. Brown, Lecia C. Lee, and Min. Kevin B. Lee, Sr. (Audrey); 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 16 great–great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews. The Family of Mary Lee wishes to thank all and everyone for prayers and love that has been shown to us throughout this difficult time.
