Mary L. Wood, age 77 years, of Plymouth, MA and Covington, GA, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, after a brief illness. She was the wife of Alvin E. Woody Wood, and the daughter of the late Joseph and Clelia (Colodel) Monti. Born and raised in Plymouth, Mary and Woody made there home in Covington, GA as well as spending their summers in Plymouth. She enjoyed playing golf with her husband, making many longtime friendships. Mary had an uncanny memory and unique talent of remembering everyone she met, as well as their names. She worked at Happy Days Nursery and enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. Besides her loving husband Alvin, she is survived by her children Stephen Caramello Jr. and his wife Trish of Scituate and Lauren Cathcart of Plymouth, stepchildren, Steven A. Wood and his wife Carol of Grayson, GA and Alicia M. McDaniel of Monticello, GA, her brother George Scotti and his wife Eunice Edes of Wakefield, RI and a sister Norma Tache of St. Clair, MI. She also leaves eleven dear grandchildren Steven, Jami, Jill, Luke, Alexa, Billy, Brett, Joel, Angela, Courtney and Mitchell, and her four great grandchildren, Faith, Maverick, Brooklyn and Jumper. She was the sister of the late Anna Marchigiani.
