Mary Louise “Big Horse” was born April 24, 1944 in Decatur, Alabama to the late Annie Mae Warren and the late Eddie Sears. She departed this life on August 5, 2015 at her residence.
She accepted Christ at an early age. Mary was a graduate of the Lakeside High School Class of 1962.
She was employed by Roy Payne Toyota where she worked for years as an Automotive Technician. Mary was a very outspoken person and made her presence known. She was loved by all her family and friends. She considered herself the Mayor of Harbor Pointe, her apartment complex, and everyone there knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Edward Scott.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory: a son, Jonas Warren; a loving and devoted sister and caretaker, Annie Fay Smith of Decatur; other siblings, Willie B. (Clara) Sears, Alvin Sears and Eddie Sears Jr., all of Decatur, Estella Sears and Barbara Sears of Harper Wood, MI, Mary E. Sears of Detroit, MI, Harvey (Clotney) Sears of East Pointe, MI; aunt, Carolyn (Robert) Patton of Indianapolis, IN; a special friend, Loretta Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
