Mary L. Stuehlmeyer, 86, of Centralia, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
She was born July 17, 1931 in Centralia, daughter of Milton Sherman and Sylvia Mae (Meador) Atchison. She married Robert Stuehlmeyer on August 30, 1947 in Morganfield, Kentucky and he survives in Centralia.
In addition to her husband of 70 years, she is also survived by three children: Penny Robb and husband Sterling, Brent Stuehlmeyer and wife Debbie, Larry Stuehlmeyer and wife Lisa; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a brother: Mike Atchison and wife Tamara; two sisters: Shirley Patton and Sue AsKew; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter: Connie Simmons.
Mary was a homemaker, she worked part time at Hollywood Candy Co., Dress Factory and also at Community Care. She was a devoted Charter member at Eternity Baptist Church in Centralia, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher. Mary was very proud of her church.
