Mary L. Smith, 43, of LaSalle, passed away at 1:24 PM Monday (July 21, 2014) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ottawa.
She was born on January 8, 1971 in Peru to Ray E. & Linda (DeKeyzer) Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, Emily Nicole Smith of LaSalle; her mother, Linda Smith of Peru; 2 sisters: Dawn Ingold of LaSalle and Cindy (Tim) Wallin of LaSalle; a nephew Aaron Ingold; her grandmother, Frances DeKeyzer of Peru and her friend and helper, Michelle Piano of LaSalle.
She was preceded in deathby her father; her maternal grandfather, Alphonse DeKeyzer, her Paternal Grandparents, William & Lorena Smith and an uncle, Albert DeKeyzer.
Mary was a graduate of L-P High School and had worked for several fast food restaurants until illness prevented her from working anymore.
