Mary L. “Peggy” Peck, 90, went to be with her Lord and savior Tuesday April 5, 2011, in The Gatehouse at Divine Providence Hospital.
Peggy was born in Duboistown on June 30, 1920, to David and Mary Hawkins Berton L. Peck and Peggy were married in 1938. Peggy was a member of Church of Our Savior Lutheran in Williamsport.
She is survived by son Timothy (Patricia) Peck of Montoursville, daughter-in-law Barbara Peck of New York, brother David (Ann) Hawkins, Jr. of Williamsport, brother-in-law William Lynn of Williamsport, and her longtime friend Stella George.
Peggy enjoyed her grandchildren Jeffery Caputo, Keith Caputo, Rodney Caputo, Leslie Bryant, Sarah (David) Christensen, Amanda Peck, Ashley (John) Lauchle, Timothy (Jessica) Peck, Jr., and Joshua (Barbara) Peck. She also cherished her great-grandchildren, Mason and Tyler Lauchle and Shane Peck.
Peggy was predeceased by her husband Berton L. Peck in 1964, daughter Joyce D. Kibler, son Gary L. Peck and siblings (Jack Hawkins, Nelson Hawkins, James Hawkins, Eugene Hawkins, Betty Hawkins, and Shirley Lynn.
Peggy was retired from Susquehanna Health care systems. She enjoyed traveling, reading on Gary’s deck, bingo, watching Tim and Barb cook, Patty’s macaroni and cheese, spending time with family, shopping with Stella, and she loved getting her hair done.
