Mary L. Gillen, 93, widow of John J. Gillen, formerly of Southington and Bristol, passed away on Sunday June 29, 2008 in Clearwater FL. She had been a resident of Florida for the past 29 years. Mary was born on October 25, 1914 in New Britain, CT a daughter of the late Mortimer and Elizabeth (Smith) Lyman.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Diane and Wayne Owen of Dunedin, FL; her grandchildren Lindsey Owen and Christopher Owen; her great grand daughter Caelyn Owen all of FL; her nephew Thomas Lyman and a great-niece Erin Lyman both of Bristol. She was predeceased by her daughter, Nancy Gillen; her brothers Mortimer and John “Jack” Lyman and her sister Ruth Lyman.
