TEWKSBURY – Mary L. (Torci) Ciampa, 83, of Tewksbury, formerly of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, April 27, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Bradford.

Mrs. Ciampa was born on November 27, 1929 in Somerville, daughter of the late John and Pierina (Castano) Torchi of Italy. Mary was raised in Cambridge, and attended Cambridge Schools.

Loving wife of the late Lawrence A. Ciampa who passed in January of 1993.

After marriage, they lived in Cambridge for many years and began to raise their family. They moved to Wilmington in the 1970’s and lived there together until Lawrence’s passing. Mary then lived in Tewksbury where she formed many great friendships over the years. She lived independently right through this past year until staying with her daughter and son in-law in Bradford to be cared for.

Her interests included cooking, most of all sharing time with family. Mrs. Ciampa was a very religious woman being an active parishioner of St.
