Mary Keys was born on April 6, 1923 in Clay County Mississippi to the union of Grozia and Jessie Burnett. She was the fourth of the ten children born into this family.
Mary was preceded in death by her three sons, Willie, Alvin, and Lake Keys as well as her siblings Rosie, Nancy, Martha, Louveina, L.B., J.B., and Joseph.
Mary leaves to cherish her precious memories her only surviving sibling, her sister, Josephine Burnett of Shreveport, LA; her daughters Hattie Gipson of Park Forest, IL, Melodie Lindsey of Lynwood, IL., Ciesta Crite (Ken) of Windermere, FL.; her sons Gregory Keys of Park Forest, IL., Eric Keys of Clarendon Hills, IL., Leroy Jones and Elroy of Minneapolis, MN.; nieces, nephews, thirty-four grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
