Mary Kathryn Andree Elkins passed away peacefully at her home in Temple Tuesday April 18, 2017. She was born in Commerce, Texas, April 23, 1944 to Leo B. Andree and Lola Pearl Gammill Andree.
Her family gratefully remembers her life, the life lessons she taught, and her fierce loyalties for what she believed in. They wish to express praise and thanksgiving to God for the gift of her life in theirs. They are confident that she is enjoying her reward with her heavenly family, especially Jesus for whom she had a special devotion. Her life was blessed and enriched by her husband Paul Wayne Elkins for 46 years.
There will be a Celebration of Mary’s life at 11:30 at Harvest Church, Temple, TX at 4501 S. General Bruce Dr.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, and one sister, Sandra Brackeen. She is survived by her husband, Paul Wayne Elkins, her son Albert Lee Elkins, wife Rebecca and sons Jimmy and Danny Mayfield. Her son Michael Ray Elkins and his children; Samantha and husband Jeremy Deaton and Alex Elkins.
Her step-son Michael Wayne Elkins, wife Theresa and his children Sean Elkins, Amanda and husband Kip Coon, and Theresa M. Elkins, and their mother Marla Ann Elkins, Mary’s Daughter in Love. She has five surviving siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, and one aunt, Mary Cimarolli.
