Mary Kathryn Earl Sturgill, of Seymour, formerly of Medora passed away on the early morning of July 18, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 75 years old.
Mary entered this life on July 9, 1947 in Linton, Indiana. She was the daughter of Chris and Lillian (Darkis) Bowden. She was a graduate of Medora Community Schools, Class of 1965. On August 27, 1965, in Lawrence County she was united in marriage to Franklin Earl. He preceded Mary on April 19, 2010. From this union of over 44 years, they were blessed with a son Franklin Chris.
Mary found love again with her lifetime friend Fred Sturgill.
Mary was a devoted wife, loving mother, and Grandma.
She was preceded by her parents and a brother Ricky Bedwell.
