Mary Katherine Wofford Hawes, age eighty-one passed away on April 11, 2020.
Known to her friends and family as Kathy, she was born on February 16, 1939 in Llano to Arthur Calvin and Clara Spurlin Wofford. She was a member of Eastern Star and a decorated pianist. Known for her incredible floral arranging skills, sewing abilities, and iron will.
She is survived by her three daughters – Tyeanna Aubrey, Melody Bonner, and Melia Gilbert and their families including seventeen grandkids and sixteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John Hawes, her brother Jimmy Wofford and sister Dorothy McClellan.
