Mary Joyce Steinhart, 86, of Boise, passed away peacefully on July 27th, 2020 at home.
Mary Joyce Steinhart was born in Herington, Kansas on August 7th, 1933 to James and Hazel Johnson. She grew up in Coffeeville, Kansas and moved to Wagoner, Oklahoma when she was in nineth grade and graduated from Wagoner High School. She always wanted to play the piano and started learning to play at the age of four. She learned to play the piano by ear and provided many years of enjoyment for her family and friends playing for them.
She moved to Idaho with her husband Walt in 2005 where her daughter and son lived. She lost her husband in 2008. She was full of life, always positive and brought smiles to everyone she met. She was very compassionate and caring, always helping others. She battled polycystic kidney disease for many years and eventually was on dialysis her last five years of her life. She will truly be missed by all her family and friends.
