On Wednesday, April 22, 2020, Ms. Mary Jean Williams of Tampa boarded a timeless flight which would take her to her eternal destination, for which she had been preparing for.

Mary Jean Williams was a native of Montezuma, Georgia born to Jimmie and Sylvia Williams.  She was the oldest of 11 siblings. The family moved to Tampa, Florida when she was very young and she was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County.  

Mary joined Greater Bethel M.

She was preceded in death by: her father, Mr. Jimmie Williams, Sr.; brother, Mr. Jimmie Williams, Jr.; and daughter, Kimberly Whitehead. 

She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Mrs. Sylvia Williams; daughter, Angela Lewis Gallmon; son, Reginald (Aimee) Lewis; siblings, Major (Cassandra) Williams, Lawrence (Gloria) Williams, Vivian (Benjamin) Ravenel, Veronica (Phillip) Parker, Treva Edwards, Zachary (Gayle) Williams, Daron (Nikki) Williams, Algerian (Tanya) Williams, and Christopher Williams; grandchildren, Greg Hornsby, Jr., Grenisha Hornsby, Trenisha Hornsby, Reginald J. Lewis, Alyssia (Julius) Henderson, and Regina Fields; great-grands,  La’Quavionte, Ja’Quiria, Ja’Yani, Gerriah, G’Sani, Ja’Liyah, Gianni, Raiyari, Raiya, Gregory, Ke’yon, Javin, Jonathan, Ray, Rajah, Junise, Julius III, Alexander, and Alijah; and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
