Mary Jean Drenth went home to be with her Lord on August 18, 2016. Mary was born August 15, 1927 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Anthony and Grace (Vermeulen) VanderWeele. On June 30, 1950 she was united in marriage to Louis S. Drenth. She was a member of Centerpoint Church.
The highlight of her Christian life was the five years she spent studying and then teaching the Bethel Bible Series. For many years she found great joy in teaching Sunday School and her Bible Study Fellowship series. Mary always took great pride in caring for others and enjoyed cooking, reading and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Mary and Lou loved their annual vacation trips to Florida. Surviving are her husband Louis Drenth; her daughter Denise Drenth Zimmerer; her brother Robert (Mary) VanderWeele; in-laws; nieces and nephews.
