Mary Jean C. Sees (nee Mariotti), 81, of O’Fallon, IL passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born December 3, 1939, in Buffalo, NY. Mary Jean was a member of the O’Fallon First United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society.
She was very crafty and loved to paint, cross-stitch, and crochet. She also enjoyed bingo, poker, keno, puzzles, and reading. Mary Jean will be missed by those who loved her. Mary Jean was preceded in death by her parents; Joseph and Teresa Mariotti (nee Leo), husband; Lester Sees, one sister; Teresa Mariotti, and one brother; Joseph Mariotti.Mary Jean is survived by her daughter; Beverly (William) Broyles of O’Fallon, IL, one brother; Dominic (Ellen Beckwith) Mariotti of Hamburg, NY, two grandchildren; Nicole Bormann of St. Louis, MO and Scott (Sadie) Hamsik of Cedar Rapids, IA, and three great-grandchildren; Natalie Bormann, Dominic Loehr, Charlotte Hamsik, and her best friend; Dottie Soucy of O’Fallon, IL.
