Mary Jane Leathermon, age 88, of Lincolnton, NC passed away February 1, 2020 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. She was born June 2, 1931 in Lincoln County to the late Richard Lee Leathermon and Junie Elizabeth Conner Leathermon.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her two sisters and three brothers-in-law; Helen Hight (Bill), Betty Avery (Jack), Perry Duncan, and one niece-in-law Harriet Hight.
Ms. Leathermon is survived by, one brother, Carl Leatherman Sr. (Ann), one sister, Martha Duncan, beloved nieces and nephews Ronnie Hight (Emily), Janet Ward (Jim), Mike Duncan (Lynn), Thad Duncan (Shawn), Leslie Moss (Bill), Lisa Stroup (David), and Carl Leatherman Jr, thirteen great nieces and nephews, and three great-great nieces and nephews.
