Mary Jane Smith, 83, formerly of West Milton, OH, died Tuesday, August 31, in Sugar Hill, GA.
She was born in Tipp City, OH, to Albert and Beatrice (Jones) Kettlehake, who preceded her in death.
After graduating from Milton Union Schools, Mary Jane married the late Ronald P. Smith in 1956. They had two daughters, Tammy Whitaker and Mary Ann Anderson, who both survive, and were married until Ronald’s death in 2019.
Also surviving are son-in-law Randy Anderson, grandchildren Rachel (Tico Haynes) Whitaker, Emily (Lauren) Jones, and Joe (Nicole) Whitaker. Mary Jane was the beloved Gigi Doll of great granddaughter Logan Jones.
In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was predeceased by son-in-law Tom Whitaker, sisters Audrey Mattis, Margaret Rhoades, and Helen Koenes, and brother Clarence Winert.
