Mary Jane “Bobbie” Burgess Williamson, 69, of Route 1, Salem, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 at United Hospital Center following an extended illness. She was born September 21, 1942 in Logan County the daughter of the late Marion Burgess and Ellen Pearl Morgan Burgess. She is survived by her husband Paul Williamson whom she married October 10, 1958. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons; James Williamson and wife Linda of Delta, PA and Thomas “Tom” Williamson of Fairmont; two grandchildren; Buddy Knight and wife Jessie and Lisa Knight and one great grandchild; Haley E. Knight and too many nieces and nephews to mention by name that will miss her dearly; also surviving is a special sister-in-law; Helen Williamson. She was preceded in death by one son; John Paul Williamson; four sisters; Alma Eagan, Virginia White, Irene Burgess and Mary Lou Burgess and four brothers; Roscoe Burgess, Tommy L. Burgess, Marion “Buddy” Burgess and Roger Burgess. Bobbie was a supervisor over the Janitors for 18 years at Peach Bottom Atomic Power Plant in Delta, PA. She was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Salem. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and listening to live country music and southern gospel music. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
