Jane Mendon Bauerle, 79, of Ottumwa passed away on September 2nd in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Jane was born in Ames, Iowa on May 27th, 1932 to Arthur and Ivadelle Mendon.
After graduating from Ames High School in 1950, she attended Iowa State University where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics in 1954. She married Richard Carl Bauerle on August 14th, 1954. During the early years of their marriage, she taught junior high school in Lone Tree, Iowa and elementary school in Roswell, New Mexico.
