Mary Jane Barnes, 98, of Jacksonville, IL died Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Jacksonville Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Jacksonville.
She was born February 6, 1917 in Paris, MO, the daughter of Roy and Pearl Conyers West. She married Gilbert C. Barnes on April 3, 1941 in Paris, MO and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by a granddaughter, Kimberly Byrd of Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by two sons, Harry Joe Gossett and William Winfred Byrd, and by two siblings, Ruby Etta Beechum and Thomas L. West.
She was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Jacksonville.
