Mary Griffin, age 90 of Fayette, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Fayette Medical Center. She was born in Miami, Florida and spent her childhood and youth in Thomasville, Georgia. On November 27, 1946, she married Alvin Griffin in Thomasville, Georgia and they moved to Fayette in 1948. She attended Fayette First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. Services will be Thursday, January 12, 2017, at 2:00 p.m.
