Mary J. Paschal Rousey, 71, Anderson, died May 30, 2004 at her residence after following an extended illness. She was born July 23, 1932 in Anderson, IN, and resided in Anderson all of her life. She was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Anderson High School.
She was a member of Anderson Evangelical Church and was a volunteer in the gift shop at St. John’s Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband of 53 1/2 years, Harry Rousey, whom she married on July 9, 1950 at the First Evangelical United Brethren Church in Anderson. One Daughter: Kathy Rousey of Anderson. One Son: Mike wife, Terri Rousey of New Orleans, LA. Two Grandchildren: Jasmine and Ian of New Orleans. Two sisters: Vivian husband, Roy D. Smith of Alexandria and Corrine Rector of Anderson.
Also surviving are several Nieces and Nephews. The family wishes to give special appreciation to the St. John’s Hospice for all their love and care during the last 3 months.
She was preceded by her parents: Herbert and Maude Henderson Paschal.
