Mary Helen Rose (Stewart), age 85, passed away quietly on Jan 20, 2007 at West Florida Hospital while under Covenant Hospice care. Mary was born in Tyrone, PA on Dec 6, 1921. She had made her home in Wynn Haven Beach since 1971 when her husband retired from the USAF having proudly served for 28 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence D. Stewart and Hope V. (Bricker) Stewart and loving husband of 50 years John W. Rose. She is survived by brothers; Robert “Bob “ Stewart and wife Erdine “Deanie” (deceased) of Tyrone, PA and Earl Stewart and wife Dorothy of Port Matilda, PA. Son, John L. Rose and wife Alice of Mary Esther, grandson John C. and wife Kimberlie of Wenatchee, WA, great-grandchildren Madison, John S., Mallorie, Grissom and granddaughter Allyson Lea Rose-Stevens and husband Adam of The Woodlands, TX, great-grandchildren Brynn and Delaney. Daughter, Joyce Rose Green and husband Rick of Portland, OR, granddaughters Cailin, Shannon and Aubrey. Daughter Deborah Rose Krisher and husband Kent of Pensacola, grandson Caleb.
