Mary Helen (Law) Redick was born Nov.1, 1924. She was the second of four children (Robert, Mary, Delores, and JoAnn) born to George and Edith Nelson Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. After graduating from Johnson High School, she worked as a “Rosy the Riveter” on B-24 Liberators during World War 11. She married Claude Redick on July 19,1947. To this union, four children were born (Linda, Ronald, Mary Gail, and Nancy). The family lived in Minnesota, Missouri, and Illinois before moving to Denver in 1964. Mary was an office worker and homemaker most of her life, and in her later years, she enjoyed being a caregiver and companion to seniors until her retirement at age 85. After the death of her husband in 1989, Mary traveled extensively to Europe, Hawaii, and much of the United States. Most recently, she enjoyed a month long trip to Canada and Alaska with her daughter and son-in-law. She especially liked her trips “up the hill”.
