Mary H. Enyeart, 106, and a longtime resident of Canon City, CO, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the Life Care Center of Stonegate in Parker, CO. Mary was born December 7, 1915 in Walsenburg, CO to Juan Antonio and Estefanita (Martinez) Medina. Mary was widowed four times and was a loving caregiver to all of her husbands, Enos Gonzales, Omar Cassell, Russell Cunningham, and Loren Enyeart. She was a member of the Royal Gorge VFW Post 4061 Auxiliary in Canon City for many years, and served as Auxiliary Jr. Vice President and President. She volunteered for Friday night bingo and Sunday morning breakfast.

Mary enjoyed traveling, which was highlighted in 1988 with a trip to France, Spain, Italy and Scotland. She was affectionately known as “Aunt Mary” and enjoyed bowling, knitting, crossword puzzles, bingo, and playing cards.

Mary had one son, Robert Bustillo, who was killed in a car accident at the age of 33.

Mary is survived by her granddaughter, Toni Bustillo of Salt Lake City, UT; grandson, Robert Bustillo of Denver, CO; step-daughter, Doris Cunningham of Canon City, CO; niece, Sharmaine Sepulveda of Los Angeles, CA; nephews, Salvador Saunders of Long Beach, CA, Robert Laney of Vista, CA, Douglas Medina of Littleton, CO, and Boniface Donald Medina of Parker, CO; step-granddaughters, Michelle Keifer of Hastings, MN, Tina Cullenton of San Antonio, TX, Jeannine Stovall of Salida, CO, and Christine Gatto of San Francisco, CA; step-grandsons, Mark Stovall of Salida, CO, Tomasz Enyeart of Alma, CO, Bartoz Ciarloni of Breckenridge, CO, Brian Cunningham of Littleton, CO, Carl Cunningham of San Diego, CA, and numerous great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Crespina Saunders, Susie Sierra, Lola Brophy; brothers, Fred Medina, Albert Medina, Joe Medina and Leo Medina

A Mass is scheduled for December 7, 2022 at 10 a.
