GUILLAUME Mrs. Mary (Smyth) Guillaume, age 94 of Oxford and East Lyme, CT died Thursday, January 10, 2013 in East Lyme, CT. She was the wife of the late Raymond M. Guillaume. Mrs. Guillaume was born August 31, 1918 in Manhattan, N.Y., daughter of the late Thomas and Bridget Smyth. In her youth, she loved her work as a bookkeeper in the hotels of Manhattan. She later taught school in Brooklyn, NY and Dalton, MA. She retired as a secretary for the East Northport/Northport, NY school district. Among her hobbies, she liked working in the yard and loved to play games of chance such as poker, bingo, lottery tickets, and wheel of fortune slots. In her retirement, she and her late husband spent winters at Myrtle Beach, S.C. where they enjoyed walking the beach together and entertained family and friends. For the last few years, she enjoyed time with family and friends at Embden Pond in Maine. She and Raymond were active parishioners of St.
