Mary Giudice, age 92, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at Hewitt Memorial Nursing Home of Shelton. Born April 11, 1913 in Castella de Stabia, Italy, the daughter of the late Carmela and Catella Afasano, she was a resident of Shelton for the past 2 years. She spent the early part of her life in this country as a dressmaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald. Survivors include one daughter, Michelina Ferrante and her husband Robert of Shelton; two sons, William Guidice of California and Robert Giudice of New Mexico; a sister, Nina Nassisi and her husband Thomas of Valley Cottage, New York; two brothers, Vincent Afasano and his wife Betty of Orange, and Frank Afasano and his wife Margie of Stewart, Florida; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
