Mary Genevieve Beiriger, 76, passed away May 29, 2013 in Canon City, CO. She was born on November 4, 1936 in Center, Colorado to Virgil T. and Lola G. (Ruggles) Helmick. Mary was united in marriage to Phillip J. Beiriger. Mary kept very busy, never sitting idle. She was a master seamstress, and avid reader, and spent hours doing her crafts. She loved cross-stitching, quilting, embroidering, needlepointing, crocheting, and gardening. Mrs. Beiriger is survived by her husband, Phillip of Canon City, CO; children, Rocky A. Austin of Savannah, GA and Eric L. Austin of Rocky Ford, CO; and grandchildren, Jacob, Bailey, Chad, and Tiffany. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Virgil Darrel Helmick, Edra Helmick Crown, Darlene Helmick Bowers, Keith Helmick, and Verle Helmick.
